Robert “Rb” Abenoja Andres is currently an active Senior Artist-Teacher-Member of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), where he specializes in designing curricula and facilitating workshops on theater for artistic development, theater in education, and theater for development, among others. Having started in PETA’s former youth arm, the PETA Metropolitan Teen Theater League, he is also skilled in creative writing, directing, annotation and documentation, graphics and layout, editing and proofreading, stage and production management, events management, repertory theater guidance, consultation, and organizing and management. He currently serves as Chairperson of the PETA Members’ Welfare Fund Committee. His most recent project was serving as co-writer, layout artist, editor, and proofreader of ImaginAction: Youth Cooking Up A Sustainable Future Together – A Creative Workshop Manual on Education for Sustainable Development for Young Artists & Leaders.
Through PETA, Rb has represented both PETA and the Philippines and has performed in the Philippines, The Netherlands, South Korea, and Japan. He has also participated as a delegate, facilitator, and participant in festivals and conferences in Hong Kong and Singapore. He likewise engages in freelance and volunteer work in the fields of arts, education, organization, and development.
Rb is an award-winning copywriter, broadcast promotion, and creative communications specialist recognized by the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Golden Dove Awards, and the Araw Values Awards for his work with DZMM, WRR, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, Star Cinema, GMA 7, and TV5. He also served as co-anchor of the program DZMM Live! and as a full movie trailer producer for Star Cinema.
He is one of the founding members of the LGBTQIA+ political party Ang Ladlad, the founder of the community theater organization Tanghalang LikHaraya, and the co-founder of the volunteer organization Lingap Bayanihan San Mateo.

Kiki Baento is a registered Civil Engineer from Mapua University and a PETA Senior Artist-Teacher. Her productions in PETA include Walang Aray (nominated at PHILSTAGE Gawad Buhay, Philippine Leaf Awards, and Broadway World PH), Mga Kuwento Ni Lola Basyang, A Game of Trolls, Arbol De Fuego, William, FnL, Pamana, D’ Wonder Twins of Boac, Rated:PG, Rak of Aegis, Care Divas, Charot! and One More Chance.
She played the titular role for DUP’s Kung Paano Nanalo Sa Karera Si Rosang Taba, where she won Outstanding Performance By An Actress at the 2nd Philippine LEAF Awards.
She was part of Tanghalang Pilipino’s Stageshow, and performed several plays for Virgin Labfest and other independent theater groups.
She joined the PUM festival in Mindulle Theater in Korea featuring her original one man show Dog Peach, and was part of Kin-Ball, an international collaboration with Kirari Fujimi Theater in Japan.
She is an actor for TV, film and commercials as well. Actor, teacher, director, PD, SM, PM. A versatile artist fluent in Fagalog / Bekinese. Kiki believes she’s an “African-American gay diva” in her past life.

Felinda V. Bagas is an award-winning writer with more than twenty years of experience writing for television, film and the stage. Her credits include ABS-CBN Foundation’s Hirayamanawari, Sineskwela, Epol/Apol, and MathTinik; the Knowledge Channel’s Kasaysayan TV; Eskwela ng Bayan’s Solved, and Karen’s World; ABS-CBN’s Darating Ang Umaga, It Might Be You, Super Inggo, Lobo, and Reputasyon; ABC 5’s Never Say Goodbye; GMA News TV and NCCA’s Project: Destination; Star Cinema’s Way Back Home; PETA’s Munting Saranggola, Suguy, Storytelling Sundays, and Noche Buena, among others. Also a published author, her children’s book The Little Girl in a Box won the PBBY-Salanga Prize and the National Children’s Book Award. Her short stories have also been included in magazines and anthologies published in Spain and in the United States.

Kabaitan Bautista is a Senior Artist Teacher at the PETA. He is a Musical Director, Sound Designer, Composer. His latest production include Kislap At Fuego, as sound designer and Si Faust, as musical director, arranger and sound designer. He also scores and does sound design films.

Marichu Belarmino-Carino is a senior artist-teacher at PETA whose nearly three decades of experience have shaped her into a versatile actor and a creative facilitator. She has performed in notable PETA productions such as “Dreamweavers”, “Noli-Fili Dekada dos Mil”, “Libby Manaoag Files: Ang Paghahanap Sa Puwertas Prinsesas”, and “Tagu-Taguan Nasaan Ang Buwan?”, while also appearing in independent films like “Pauwi Na” and various teleseryes, alongside her participation in the 11th Virgin Labfest. A graduate of Maryknoll College with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts (1982), she also pursued masteral units in Philippine Psychology at the University of the Philippines-Diliman from 2002 to 2007.
Beyond her performance work, Belarmino-Carino is a dedicated advocate for children’s rights and positive discipline, serving as PETA’s Children’s Theater Program Director, PETA ARTS Zone Project’s Project Director, and Love Does Not Hurt (LDNH)’s Regional Coordinator across four ASEAN countries (2020–2022). Throughout her career, she has managed PETA’s Theater for Development (TfD) programs, utilizing her expertise in networking, advocacy, and creative campaigns to address violence against children. Her extensive experience includes presenting papers and facilitating workshops at numerous international conferences and forums in Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and China, where she has been recognized for her innovative work in applied theater and development.

Happy “Haps” Constantino is a Senior Artist-Teacher at PETA who wears many hats—stage manager, sound designer, director, and sometimes, performer! With almost two decades of juggling theater and events, she’s helped bring to life productions like One More Chance: The Musical, Rak of Aegis, Charot!, and the SEA Games Opening Ceremony. Onstage and on screen, you might’ve caught her in William, Comedy Island Philippines, or Manilennials. Her sound design for Rak of Aegis won her a Gawad Buhay award in 2015 (with Myke Salomon), and she earned another nomination in 2023 for Walang Aray (with Vince Lim). Outside the theater, Haps directs events for brands like Nestlé, Colgate-Palmolive, Epson, and Viber. When she’s not calling cues or tweaking audio, she’s Trish’s partner, Shayne’s proud momma, and co-founder of the beloved dimsum biz, Happy-Kiki-Pat.

Nickea is a Senior Artist-Teacher of PETA, where she has been actively involved in performance, production, and arts education. She has contributed to numerous company productions both as an actress and as part of the production and stage management team, including Ang Hatol ng Guhit na Bilog, PETA Lab’s Kota, Puyo, Troya, A Game of Trolls, Batang Rizal, Dalaga na si Maxie, Failed Puppeteer and Walang Aray.
As an educator, she demonstrates a strong commitment to children’s theater in facilitating programs that encourage empowered creative expression, critical thinking, and ensemble collaboration among young learners. Her professional work extends to television, film, and commercial advertisement as an Actor. Her work is grounded in movement and physical theater, supported by her continued training in yoga, acroyoga, capoeira and animal movement.

Roman or Oman as his friends call him, is the recipient of the Philstage 15 Gawad Buhay Awards for most outstanding lighting design for his work in Tanghalang
Pilipino’s “Balete”. He is a technical theater practitioner who specializes in lighting design for theater, dance, and live performances. He learned by joining productions under the supervision of Ms. Naomi “Shoko” Matsumoto, Mr. Benjamin “Jonjon” Villareal, and Mr. Virgilio “Katsch” Catoy as an apprentice and lighting assistant.
He studied other aspects of technical theater under Ms. Barbara “Barbie” Tantionco because lighting alone is not enough for a production to be successful. He must be aware of all aspects of the production because most of his work will be geared towards his day job as the technical consultant for the Lasallian community, mostly students with very limited knowledge and access to how to manage their productions.
Oman has worked with a vast number of artists and he claims to be one of the supporters of the arts. He has worked with Ms. Grace Nono, Mr. Bob Aves, Mr. Paul Alexander Morales, Mr. Romualdo “Raffy” Tejada, Mr. Chris Millado, Mr. Peter Alcedo, and Ms. Mycs Villoso to name a few.

Eric V. Dela Cruz is a transdisciplinary performance maker, educator, and dramaturg from the Philippines whose work bridges performance, pedagogy, and research. He is the founder and Creative Navigator of TAXI Theater, an independent platform for immersive and sensorial performance-making that develops projects around ecology, disability, care, and cultural memory.
For over two decades, Eric has created multisensory, participatory performances that invite audiences to encounter stories through sound, touch, scent, taste, and embodied presence. His works include Mulagat (a horror experiment in complete darkness), Tacloban (a performative dinner on climate grief), Musta? (an immersive journey into depression and recovery), and Ang Parangal (a socially engaged participatory performance).
Through TAXI’s Talyer Program, he designed the Creative Sensory Attunement Workshop (CSAW), which evolved into Relational Sensory Dramaturgy (RSD)—an approach to performance-making grounded in awe, curiosity, and ethical sensory engagement. Under this program, he is also developing Ganap na Pagganap: Acting for Filipinos, a culturally rooted actor-training framework informed by the Stella Adler technique, which he is formally authorized to teach in the Philippines.
A senior artist-teacher with the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), Eric has also taught at University of the Philippines Diliman and De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, where he chaired the Theater Arts Program. Internationally, he has worked and presented across Asia, Europe, and North America, with research published in Theatre and Performance Design, Performance Research, and Pedagogias Invisibles.
In 2025, Eric was named Artist-in-Residence at the Harvard University Asia Center. His current long-term project, Sinag Lahi, explores endangered Filipino foodways, beginning with Asin Tibuok, a rare salt-making tradition from Bohol.

Zoe Damag is a senior artist-teacher at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). She was a collaborating artist in Sari-Sali, a Japan–Philippines devised work performed in Kinosaki, Japan in 2023 and at PETA in 2024, in collaboration with PETA, the Japan Foundation Manila (JFM), and BRDG. She was also part of the ensemble of Walang Aray.
Zoelle served as PETA’s delegate to the international theater mediation program headed by ConnectUP, held in Derby, UK and Pilsen, Czech Republic. She also worked as Project Manager for Smashed Philippines, an alcohol education program implemented in partnership with Collingwood Learning, PETA PLUS, and Diageo.

Gerard is a Senior Artist-Teacher at (PETA) and a high school teacher at Lasalle Greenhills, based in Quezon City. Outside the classroom and the theater, he performs in drag in the persona of Dyvina Gracias. His training includes the Lessac Institute’s Kinesensics Vocal Training for Professional Actors and the Advanced Voice Training Course for Teachers from Madz Music Studio.
Both an actor and a production team member, Gerard has been involved in various PETA line and season productions, including the restaging of Bertolt Brecht’s Ang Buhay ni Galileo, Rody Vera’s Under My Skin, Liza Magtoto’s hit jukebox musical Rak of Aegis, and Vera’s original Filipino musical Walang Aray.

Lea L. Espallardo is an actor, educator-advocate, and cultural manager with over three decades of experience in using the arts for education and social change. As a senior artist-teacher with the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), she has led numerous arts-based advocacy initiatives across Southeast Asia and the Greater Mekong Subregion, focusing on issues such as gender equality, HIV/AIDS awareness, child protection, and feminist pedagogy.
A trailblazer in creative education, Lea has facilitated cross-cultural workshops, authored advocacy manuals, and collaborated with global institutions including UNESCO and APCEIU to conduct teacher training programs and curriculum integration work on Global Citizenship Education (GCED).
Her work bridges performance and pedagogy—engaging diverse audiences, fostering transformative dialogue, participation, and community empowerment. As a speaker, trainer, and artist, Lea Espallardo brings a unique and insightful voice to conversations on the transformative power of the arts in education and social change.

Meann Espinosa is a Senior Artist-Teacher at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) and a member since 2007. A Gawad Buhay Awardee (2011), her work spans local and international stages, as well as directing projects that challenge dominant narratives. Grounded in a strong feminist lens, her practice centers on layered female characters and the complexities of women’s relationships, both in her creative work and in mentoring emerging theater practitioners.

Ayla Garcia is a voice teacher, theater actor, and singer. Her passion for music and performance led her to pursue a degree in Voice Performance from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music. From 2013-207, she sang in concerts and competitions in the US, Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia as a member of the world-renowned UST Singers. This invaluable experience not only enhanced her musicality but also broadened her perspective on the power of music as a universal language.
As a Senior Member of the Philippine Educational Theater Association, she has facilitated various theater workshops for children, teens, and adults.
Her acting credits include PETA’s Ang Buhay Ni Galileo, Walang Aray, Repertory Philippines’ Jepoy and the Magic Circle to name a few. She is also a regular performer for PETA’s Control+Shift Laboratory Festival where she enjoys collaborating on new and experimental work.

Julio Garcia is a designer-actor for theater. He is currently a senior artist-teacher of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), where his passion for theater grew and eventually led him to design for performing arts full time. His work in Walang Aray was nominated in Gawad Buhay Awards and won in Broadway World Philippines 2023 for Outstanding Set Design. He studied Architecture at Mapua University and is highly skilled in creating and transforming spaces and 3D modelling and visualization.

Ekis Gimenez is a Senior Artist-Teacher at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) and a versatile cultural worker, facilitator, and production manager.
His performance credits include a diverse range of productions, such as PETA Kalinangan Ensemble’s Kislap at Algo, PETA Plus and Ticket2Me’s Endo, and the international collaboration Nobody is Home with the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater. Beyond his work as an actor, Ekis brings extensive leadership to the technical and organizational side of theater, having managed major productions including Tabing Ilog: The Musical, Dalaga na si Maxie: A Drag Musical Extravaganza, and This Is Where It Begins.

Csairus began his journey as a workshop participant in PETA’s 2016 Theater Arts and 2017 Creative Musical Theater courses. In 2023, he became a scholar of the Meisner Crash Course for Actors, conducted by the Film Development Council of the Philippines. He was part of the stage management team for several PETA productions, including Charot!, Tagu-Taguan Nasaan ang Buwan?, Under My Skin, and Rak of Aegis.
As a performer, Csairus appeared in Ang Buhay ni Galileo as a chorus and ensemble member. He also performed in The Little Girl in a Box and Ang Parangal under PETA’s Control+Shift, and portrayed Don Tadeo in the recent run of Walang Aray.
Beyond the stage, he served as the Program Officer of the PETA-KIYO Partnership. From 2022 to 2025, he worked with several secondary schools and youth organizations across the region, empowering teachers, students, and young leaders to use the arts for transformative action.
Currently, he is the Head of Education for PETA’s Marketing & Public Relations.

AVIC ILAGAN ıs an independent filmmaker and a Senior Artist-Teacher from the Philippine Educational Theatre Association (PETA). She shifted to independent filmmaking in 1992.
As a Children’s Television Program Director of PETA-BFI, she created educational television programming for children. She also directed a number of drama teleplays, and a women-empowerment television show called 3R (Respect, Relax, Respond).
Her first short film “ANG BABAE KAPAG NAG-IISA SA MAYNILA” (A Woman Alone in Manila), a grant from the Metro Manila Film Endowment Program, won 3rd place at the 1995 GAWAD CCP for the Alternative Film & Video. The film also participated at the 1996 Asian American Film Festival in New York.
Her first documentary “DANCING IN THE LIGHT,” produced by ISIS INTERNATIONAL MANILA, won 2nd place at the 1995 GAWAD CCP for the Alternative Film & Video, and was screened at the San Francisco Asian American Film Festival in San Francisco, California in 1997.
“SOWING SEEDS”, a Japan Foundation grantee for production and a Jan Vrijman Fonds grantee for research and script development, was selected for the New Asian Currents of the 2001 Yamagata International Documentary Festival and screened at the Seoul Women’s Film Festival 4/11-4/18 2003
“HOMEBOUND”, a documentary about Hong Kong Filipino migrant workers had been screened in international festivals: Asia-Pacific Documentary Film Festival, Sydney Australia, January 29, 2006; Asia-Pacific Documentary Video Project, Performance Space Galleries, Sydney, Australia, March 8, 2006; ASEAN Human Rights Film Festival, Cebu City, December, 2006; and In Competition at the Jeevika Documentary Film Festival, New Delhi, India, August 29-30, 2009.

A dedicated artist of the stage and screen, Jarred Jaicten is a Senior Member at PETA (Philippine Educational Theater Association), having started his journey in their acclaimed workshops. His diverse performance credits include PETA’s Walang Aray and Under My Skin, PETA Plus’s Smashed Live, IdeaFirst’s Becky & Badette, and television roles in Cattleya Killer (ABS-CBN International), Viral Scandal (RCD Narratives), and 2 Good 2 Be True (RGE Drama Unit). Jarred also contributes behind the scenes to PETA productions like Rak of Aegis and Tabing Ilog the Musical, and shares his passion by teaching PETA’s summer theater workshops.

J-mee Katanyag is the newly appointed Artistic Director of PETA and a Senior Drama Writer at GMA Network.
A writer, actor, and senior artist-teacher, her body of work spans theater and television, with acclaimed credits including GMA’s Maria Clara at Ibarra and PETA’s Tagu-Taguan, Nasaan ang Buwan? (Gawad Buhay winner for Outstanding Original Libretto).
She has collaborated on international cultural exchanges across Cambodia, France, Spain, Japan, and Germany, and studied a short course on decolonial artistic practices at Berlin’s Node Center of Curatorial Studies.
As head of PETA’s Control + Shift: Changing Narratives project she aims to use theater to challenge dominant narratives, explore power and identity, and drive social change.

Melvin joined PETA through its youth arm. the Metropolitan Teen Theater League (MTTL), and through the years, became one of the company’s outstanding Senior Artist – Teachers. As an actor, Melvin has appeared in numerous PETA productions including Romulus D’Grayt, Kung Paano Ko Pinatay Si Diana Ross, Diablos, The Maids, Skin Deep, Care Divas, where he won the Outstanding Male Performer in a Musical in 2011 PHILSTAGE Gawad Buhay Awards for his role as Chelsea. He was also part of DUP’s Bilanggo ng Pag-ibig. Tisoy Brown Hari ng Wala and Divinas Palabras. Agnes Locsin’s Dabaw and Sabel, Tanghalang Pilipino’s Lysistrata and Himala the Musical, and Ballet Philippines Neo Filipino’s Asong Ulol.
Melvin’s most recent stint was PETA’s Under My Skin which fortunately had a run before the lockdown and ‘night, Mother which was hailed as the 2017 Gawad Buhay Best Play. His other PETA directorial works include Agnoia, Munting Saranggola, Tandang Sora: Ang Lola Nating Bayani, Ang Dalawang Buhay ni Plaridel, Walang Iwanan, and the company’s touring advocacy production, Padayon. Melvin has directed several Virgin Lab Fest entries such as Pagsubli, Kapit and Mapagbirong Haplos.
Aside from being an actor and teacher, Melvin is also the newly appointed Theater Center Program Director while dabbling as an assistant director for TV commercials and film. He was the assistant director in some notable films like Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, 100, and Crying Ladies.

Maribel Legarda is a seasoned director with a wealth of experience in theater, film, and television. As a PETA Artist-Teacher and former Artistic Director, she has directed and choreographed numerous major productions, conducted workshops, and worked internationally.
Her notable theater credits include Caredivas (2011), William (2011), Pamana (2013), Ako Si Josephine (2016), Kislap at Fuego, One More Chance the Musical featuring the songs of Ben&Ben (2024), and Let’s Do Lunch as part of the twinbill Deadma for Theater Titas.
In 2014, she directed PETA’s Rak of Aegis, which won 11 awards at the 7th Gawad Buhay, including Outstanding Original Musical and Outstanding Stage Direction for a Musical. In addition to her theater work, Maribel has also worked as an assistant director for commercials and directed documentaries and films, including Melodrama Negra, which received nominations for Best Direction and Best Screenplay at the Gawad Urian Awards 2013.

Vince is a Senior Artist-Teacher at the Philippine Educational Theater Association and holds a degree in AB International Studies, majoring in European Studies, from De La Salle University – Taft.
His musical journey began at 14 when he was selected to join the prestigious high school singing group, La Salle Greenhills’ Kundirana. He later became a member of the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, performing with the group from 2010 to 2015.
In 2013, Vince found his passion for theater when he joined Nine Works Theatrical’s local production of “Grease.” Since then, he has performed in numerous musical productions, including Dalanghita Productions’ “Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady” (as Henyotic), PETA’s “A Game of Trolls” (as Bimbam), and the award-winning jukebox musical “Rak of Aegis” (as Kenny).
While Vince enjoys performing on stage, his true love lies in working behind the scenes as a musical director, composer, and arranger. He has served as the musical director for several theater productions such as PETA’s “Walang Aray,” Music Artes’ “Silver Lining,” PETA’s “Charot,” and FEU Theater Guild’s “Niyebe”. Most recently , He was the musical director for Full House Theater Company’s ”Delia D.”
Vince also composed the music scores for MZet Production/GMA7’s “Open 24/7,” Ticket2Me’s “Boys’ Lockdown.”
Vince received the Best Musical Score award at the 2023 Gawad Buhay Awards for his work on PETA’s “Walang Aray” and Most recently received the award for Best Music Direction for a Musical From The Aliw Awards in 2025 for “Delia D”.

SHE MAALA is a Senior Artist-Teacher of PETA. She started in the 90s with its youth arm, the Metropolitan Teen Theater League (MTTL). Doing theater and cultural work since she was 14, she later on headed the PETA-Women’s Theater Program and worked with other development organizations and educational institutions. Currently, she is the Program Director of the PETA ARTSZone Project, advocating Positive Discipline.
Aside from her artistic training in PETA, Shé attended workshops and intensive training from Stella Adler Studio, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Robin Aaronson from Lessac Institute. Her theater training led her to work with film, television, advertising and events – as event and production manager, performer, acting coach, writer and director.
Shé is an advocate of women’s rights, children’s rights and environment protection.

Liza Magtoto is a playwright and freelance scriptwriter, a member of The Writer’s Bloc and an artist-teacher of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). Recent works include “Rak of Aegis,” “Rated PG,” “A Game of Trolls” and “Care Divas.” She also adapted for the stage the indie film “Endo.”
In 2015, she collaborated with RADA artistic director Nona Shepphard for William
Shakespeare’s “The Tempest: Reimagined,” and recently with Nina Guhlstörff and the ensemble for “Nobody Is Home,” which had performances in PETA and Germany. She also wrote Cinemalaya films “Santa Niña,” and “David F.” as well as educational TV shows like “Sineskwela,” comedy series like the Filipino version of the French-produced “Camera Cafe” and episodes for various drama anthologies for Philippine television.
A recipient of Gawad Buhay! (an award given by Philstage, an alliance of Filipino theater companies) and the Gawad Pambansang Alagad ni Francisco Balagtas (a lifetime achievement award given by UMPIL or Unyon ng mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas, or the Writers’ Union of the Philippines), Liza also won the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. Three of her award-winning plays are published in Bienvenida de Soltera, an anthology of her earlier works.

Participated in various cultural and artistic work in performance and production, his artistic credits include: A Game of Trolls (Stage Manager, 2018), Charot! (Actor/Designer, 2019), PETA’s Under My Skin (Actor/Designer, 2020) awarded Gawad Buhay 2022 Outstanding Projection and Video Design, Walang Aray (Actor, 2023) nominated Male Featured Performance in a Musical, Tabing Ilog the Musical (Designer, 2023), Kumprontasyon (Stage Manager, 2024), most recently One More More Chance The Musical featuring the songs of Ben & Ben (2024).
He currently works as a freelance director for events/concerts, and as a visual designer for video and projections.

“Mingu” is a Senior Artist-Teacher and co-Executive Director of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).
She is a writer for the stage and screen. Her recent works for theater include “One More Chance, The Musical” (2024), “Ang Parangal” (2024), an adaptation of Milos Forman’s The Firemen’s Ball, developed with Eric V. Dela Cruz, and “Babae Ang Bukas” (2022) for Oxfam Philippines. She is also a Creative Supervisor for APT Entertainment, Inc. Her latest work for the screen is “The Kingdom”, an official entry to the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival. She is not made in China.

Reggie is an actor, dancer, production manager, and senior member of PETA. His recent work includes Sentenaryo (Virgin Lab Fest 2024) and PETA’s Monit-Oh, Monit-Ah (Ctrl + Shift 2025). He has appeared in television series and digital ads such as Regal Studio Presents, Maynilad, and ExpressPay. As a teacher, he has taught children and teens through PETA’s online theater classes and extension workshops, and has been facilitating adult workshops since 2022.

Norbs Portales is an Actor, an Acting Coach, a Director, and a Trainer. He is presently the Curriculum Director of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).
For theater, he recently directed a Mental Health Caravan Performance of “Keri Pa Ba?” (2025), PETA Plus’ touring performance of “Smashed” (2024) and went to the United Kingdom as Assistant Director for PETA and Derby Theatre’s co-production of “Firewall” (2024) which participated in the Festival Internacional de Teatro de Expressão Ibérica, Portugal’s oldest theatre festival. He also directed the PETA-NCCA Lecture-Performance on Philippine History (2019) in Sydney and Blacktown, Australia. He was Associate Director for PETA’s Award winning musical – “Walang Aray” (2025)
For TV, he recently directed Team Ogie, Kim, MC, & Lassy (2024) Magpasikat performance for ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime”. He also dabbled in directing creative performances for events, musicals, short videos, and improv shows.

Ada is a PETA senior artist-teacher.
She is a performer, musician, and composer. She is currently part of Bagets the Musical. Her most recent productions include PETA’s Walang Aray, The Little Girl in a Box, and One More Chance the Musical. She has also been part of PETA productions onstage and backstage, including Batang Rizal, Padayon, A Game of Trolls, Charot!, and Mga Halimaw sa Compound Z.
Ada is also a curriculum consultant and former full-time teacher. She has designed and facilitated creative and participatory workshops on different advocacies including positive discipline, child rights and safety, community-managed disaster risk reduction, comprehensive sexuality education; water, sanitation, and hygiene; and alcohol education.

He has worked with some of the most prestigious theater companies in and out of the country, whether it be theater production, corporate event, video shoot & international festival.
He has provided lighting design and technical direction for numerous private corporations, from launching events and anniversaries to video shoots and concerts.
He teaches lighting workshops as well as theater safety trainings for students and professionals.
A Senior member of PETA and is currently the Theater Operations Supervisor of the PETA PHINMA Theater.

Gold is a Theater and TV actor, artist-teacher-organizer, songwriter, a writer, an aspiring director and an environmental advocate. She started performing professionally when she was 15 years old as a young artist of PETA’s youth arm, the Metropolitan Teen Theater League. Currently, she is a Senior Member of the Philippine Educational Theater Association, Inc. and has done numerous productions with the company including 3 Stars and a Sun, Charot, A Game of Trolls, Rak of Aegis, Caredivas, Under My Skin, Tagu-taguan Nasaan ang Buwan, Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang, Batang Rizal, and more. She was also seen in Ballet Philippine’s Manhid and Resorts World Manila’s International Production: All Out of Love.
In her two decades of being an active theater practitioner, she has done a lot of work as ARTIST in many theater productions and as a TRAINER of theater arts, applied theater/drama in disaster risk reduction, youth participation and psychosocial processing. She has worked with many community partners of PETA, combining the use of the arts and her formal training in community development in the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She has managed numerous local arts festivals and special projects with PETA and has represented the country in international workshops and festivals including the Young IDEA Program of the International Drama/Theater and Education Association (Paris, France); Performing the World (New York, USA) and Brot Fur Die Welt Theaterfest (Stuttgart, Germany).

Jonjon Villareal is a veteran lighting designer, technical director, and educator with a prolific career across theater, dance, and events. As a senior member of PETA and a theater architectural consultant, he has shaped iconic productions like Care Divas and Himala: The Musicale. Recently, he spent two years teaching technical theater in Bhutan under the Desuung Skilling Programme. His 2025 highlights include serving as Technical Director for Keala Settle’s concert at the Samsung Performing Arts Center and designing major events for the ASEAN Tourism Forum in Malaysia and the University of the Philippines.

Born in Baguio, raised in Manila, worked in Visayas and Mindanao and grew up in and with PETA for over 50 years as a teenager in PETA-MTTL, a Tour Manager of “Panata sa Kalayaan” in North America and Europe, as a dancer-choreograoher and Head of the Dance Theater Collective, an actor and Program Director of the Kalinangan Ensemble, to being the Project Coordinator and first Program Director of the PETA Theater Center and a member of its Management Committee and later as an Actor and Teacher even after “semi retirement” and now as a liaison and volunteer for PETA while he works as a theater advocate, organizer and consultant in Himamaylan City Negros Occidental.
